Immediately after graduating from The University of Southern California in 2002, I began working at a non-profit agency called San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center. I spent the next 11 years working with chronically homeless, severely mentally ill adults. This role became the groundwork for my future passion working with addiction and trauma.
I have also worked at two Intensive Outpatient Programs working with individuals struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression and Anxiety. Working in the public and private sector of this field has contributed to my love for this very difficult, detailed and empathic work.
